CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - £18K + CAR ALLOWANCE + £27K OTE – NORTH WEST

This is a great opportunity to get into an independent financial investment specialist firm. The role is based in Central Manchester. You will be working closely with the Head Office and responsible for the winning new business by establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, introducers and strategic partners. You will assist in the introduction of new marketing and product initiatives, including being responsible for success of seminars, exhibitions and other events. There are minimum budgeted standards that have to be attained in particular identifying potential clients, qualifying them and gathering sufficient information to ascertain client needs and objectives.
The role will be about a 50/50 split between being in the office and out in the road meeting potential clients. There will be an Induction programme when you first start, which is likely to be in Cheltenham (you will be put up in accommodation) and then further on-going training. This is a very regulated industry, so you will be expected to comply with regulations and FSA compliance.
Your role will be to contact clients to sell pension and investment advice. Once you are fully trained (sales and market knowledge), you will be targeted on signing up 20 new clients per month. Typical clients will be business owners or senior managers, who are highly paid - therefore both public and businesses. They will look for you to become client facing quite quickly (initially you will be accompanied on meetings).

This company is looking for someone with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will need to demonstrate that you have a high level of initiative and self motivation. This role would suit a focused individual with the tenacity, energy and drive to liaise effectively both internally and externally and have a natural ability to communicate. It is vital that the successful candidate can relate to sophisticated investors and present credibly to them. While previous knowledge of the pensions and investments market is not essential, the ability to add value and source new business through building strong networks is.
